Not sure what to make of it or if they can do better alone. I thought it was bizarre when they started the union to tell the truth, but now that it has been going for so long I find it surprising to see them leave. I know that the union has made annoying demands, but what government doesn't? The most appealing argument, to me, is the one for self-government. Not that it will be better, just that if something goes wrong it will be their own damn fault instead of some else's across an ocean. That strikes a chord with me.

I don't have a dog in the fight, but I don't understand how closing your borders and weaking your foreign investments is gonna be a good thing in todays world. It's just like whats happening in the united states with Donald Trump, the fear of immigrants and foreign powers taking away your homeland and security is striking a chord with a lot of people. I just don't see how you can isolate yourself and expect your economy to grow. Trump is even more ludicrous with his re-ignition of the industrial revolution idea lol. The only way more factorys and an isolated country is going to help anyone, is in the event of world war 3. Guess we know whats coming lol
