I'm not sure if this can be a legit combo. Does DM reduce your AMF? I'm a bit confused when reading the guide. Anyone willing to give me a longer explanation or how it might successfully be used? This would be very helpful and greatly appreciated.

Yes, DM and AMF are offensive spells.
They are both cast on your opponent.
So your DM will reduce your AMF (or completely nullify it if at a higher level).
The only way to effectively use both spells is by equipping a RoS. It will protect your AMF against your DM at a level equal to 40% of the RoS's level. This means that if your RoS is level 1000, casting a DM at level 400 will barely affect your AMF.
