Fight bonus at 6 BA regen? (in General)

I just reached the 6 BA regen rate.

Today, I noticed that the battle results no longer included the initial penalty/bonus for fighting weaker/stronger opponents. Is that normal?

From the 'challenge bonus' wiki page:

Everyone getting 6 BA every 20 minutes will never get a negative Challenge Bonus.

This implies positive bonuses are still applied, but I don't remember that happening with my tournament character when I reached the 6 BA rate.

I remember it happened during the tournament but I just assumed it was part of the rules. Thanks for the clarification.
