Java/Chat issues? (in General)

So for the first time in last couple weeks, I am on a computer on CB. I cant get the darn chat to work. Ive downloaded it a million times, was using chrome before. Downloaded Firefox, not working. Tried IE, not working...anyone have seen this? A lot of the messages I am getting is about permissions. I have tried to add every site I can think of between java and CB to the permissions list; Even lowering all my securities to a minimal. The only message I get on my CB chat is java isnt installed but redownloaded it a couple of times.

The old chat client is very difficult to get working. However, we are currently beta testing a new one that's written in JS with a new UI. It's almost ready, there's just one or two bugs out there that will annoy people to no end.

hmmm...anything needed to get on the beta test of it ? :)

right now it seems like more people causes more crashes, but it won't be long
