NCB started today (in General)

Well everyone I finally started my NCB today. I wish that the NCB had a bonus to cash because its going to suck to not have that I was looking forward to that but oh well the xp increase will be great.
One thing that I didn't think of was the effect of encumbrance on m new guy. I had to put a base level weapon on, any piece of my gear ive been working on shoots me up to a .99 encumbrance. Do I need to worry about it?
Should I just equip my gear and deal with it or wait until I can slowly afford to wear it piece by piece?

Why not make a new account and transfer all your money and items to it for a fresh, new NUB? It IS allowed, now, you know?

From the wiki: If the NW of your minion is over the specific Encumbrance level for that minion, that minion takes a linear penalty on Evasion, DX, ST, AC and DD damage.

So, if your character is an enchanter (say all he does is cast Ablative Shield and AMF) you can load him up. If it is an offensive fellow, don't.
