Been trying to run up my score so I asked Piper to loan his big ranged weapon. As soon as I equipped it I got server error. Hiya can't be inspected and cannot fight. I returned the loan hoping that would solve the problem...it didn't.
Did I hit a hard cap on nw that caused this?
Do you think server flush in a few hours will fix it?
Should we just blame Piper and all take turns beating him with a Carp?
If it is a hard cap on nw is it possible for the code to be changed to increase it. If NS or another admin is willing and able I might be able to dig some change out of the couch for some real$ compensation for the time/effort.

The flush took care of it

In an old SQL based text game I used to play, the maximum integer that could be handled was like 2.1 billion. Could be the same thing going on here.

For reference, if you scroll down to maximum int range, you can see it's 2.147 billion. I'm guessing Jon and NS never expected someone to actually hit that lol
I'm here to help!
... oh I'm not needed after all... shucks
yeah saw this and was all set to throw on my cape and put my tidy whiteys on the outside of my pants and hero up, but alas it was all for not...
You mean, its an unfixable problem, NS?

I don't think it's unfixable necessarily, but it's improbable that it will get fixed. I would think it would be a pretty massive overhaul of code. Without seeing it though, it's impossible to tell.
I halved the NW of the weapon, should fix the issue.
:p
