Need cruise recommendations (in Off-topic)

So big number 20 is coming up in November. The wife and I decided to go catch us some norovirus on a ship hehe. We are thinking a 7-8 day cruise down in the caribbean.

Is one cruise line better than another? What islands to visit and stay away from?

Any info you all can give will much appreciated, because looking this stuff online is mind boggling.

Do they even still have travel agents anymore to help book package deals?

best advice i can give is when they say all inclusive make sure that covers alcohol other wise you might get a shocking bar tab at the end of it all...

and congrats on 20 ;8^)

Congrats on the 20!!! Not sure if you are set on the Caribbean but have you considered an Alaskan Cruise? Very beautiful places to visit along the way and you could visit sites there if you do a one way cruise. It is not as cold as you would think...I did my honeymoon in Alaska first of June and it was perfect weather...and it is bright enough to walk until 1-2am. :)

One piece of advice is that the ship is more important than the room. You are better off on a really nice ship in the bowels than a nice room on a small ship. At least that was the advice I was given. I have only been on one cruise, for my honeymoon, and that was decades ago, so that's about all I got.

Grand Turk, Turks & Caicos is a fun trip my sister has enjoyed a few times. Highly Recommended and its off the over beaten standard cruise ship path...
Depends on where you live as to how much bec of the airfare in and out of Miami. Beautiful place to visit and not be run over by the tourist. Snorkel and Go Swim with the sharks :)

Thanks guys. She told me sun and sand are the only requirements or else I'd try to sneak a cruise up around alaska. The free drinks is something I'll have to look into.

I'm looking up the Turks/Caicos in a few mins, because doing a quick scan of them it looks perfect!

Now that I've got a date and location I just need to find a ship and port to depart from.
