Where can I read old PMs? can I somehow get back to them? currently I only see them once, in the login screen.

On the left hand pane there is a "community" link. If you click that there will be a chatmail link towards the bottom. Once there click "view all" next to "delivered to you". Only stores a couple though, not all.

It stores them for 2 weeks :)
