New Character (in General)

If you create a new character and transfer everything over, and you own a clan, is the clan ownership transferred?

Are your old characters and their equipment transferred over as permanently retired? If not, what happens to the equipment. I heard the equipment goes over too, but you would not have the minion slots to hold the equipment without transferring the minions.

For equipment transfers I make new teams on my NUB account and send the items piece by piece. You’d have to enlist four minions for each mule team and do some inventory tetris, but I think it is possible to transfer tons of equipment without having to perform a character transfer, since I have been using this method for all my new accounts. Downside is it takes a while and equipment fees suck.

clan ownership: transfer ownership to the new character after you make it, as clan leader you should be able to transfer ownership easy enough.

characters are not transferred automatically. if you want to transfer characters thats up to you.

Items are transferred over by you, pick what you want and send it over.

I created a new account, created 5 new characters and then transferred everything over. It's 1% of your total NW in transfer fees, so you'd need 16m ~. As far as clan ownership, you could just transfer ownership to one of us in there currently and then once you join on the new account we can just transfer it back.

I think the only stipulation with creating a new NUB is that once you transfer everything over, the old account should not be accessed again.

Now I understand. I had thought the old account would immediately become inactive.

I never worried about sending everything right away. Just make the new char and send what you need to get started, burn your BA so you don't miss any, then make your item holders and transfer the rest.

Also if you are short on cash to transfer everything I'd be happy to loan some no interest.
