I would be surprised if anyone online today has interacted with my character. I wasnt an original CB1 player but I was around in what I like to think of as the popular times where the forums were alive and there were players like Ranger and DixieCousins and a few others, who seemed like gods to us new players.
I took a break for a number of years but returned about 6 months ago and threw myself into CB again. Made some better choices and progressed a bit further. But im feeling the click grind again, progress has all but stagnated and when I look at my fellow owners and see someone who has been around for only 4 months with top gear, 400+ million in the bank and a billion net worth and still under NUB, I think why bother. There has always been the game and the meta game and good on those who find the cracks in the NCB or NUB to add a little spice. Not everyone is like that and at the end of the day all this game offers is endless clicking, never having enough cash and the realization that the gap is widening to the top.
I hope the owners get enthused and bring out CB3 and its cool with a mobile interface, new stuff and the community is revitalized.
I know this might sound like a whinge, poor little old me not moving up etc etc and maybe I am. I like to agonize over the minutia of character building and click that fight link to see if my choices were right but having to jump through hoops with new characters/logins just to be competitive takes the fun out of it.
Im taking break again and hopefully in a few more years CB3 will greet me on my return
