Officially moving on (in General)

Hi all,

It's a little crazy to think about how much has changed since I started Carnage Blender in 2001. I've moved multiple times, my oldest son is working as a software developer, and CB is old enough to drink!

Creating CB was a ton of fun and made me learn enough to be dangerous at just about every aspect of web development at the time. Like probably most of you reading this post, I also made friendships that are still alive years later. Shoutout to the man who basically taught me a crash course in advanced Python over AIM, to the one who ended up hiring my son last year, and to several others I've met in real life.

I haven't been around CB much for ... about a decade really, so I think it's time to officially hand the keys over to Nightstrike. Thanks to him for taking over my first labor of love, and thanks to everyone else keeping CB alive today. So long!

Ah man, we're gonna miss you!

Couldn't have picked a better right hand man though.

Thanks for creating something that has brought me back time and time again since roughly 2003! Good luck on all future endeavors!

You’ve made such an incredible game for all of us (there’s nothing like it)! Thank you so much for keeping it alive all these years. Cheers!

Jon,

Glad we met more than a decade ago, enjoyed working with you, enjoyed finding CB through that relationship.

As someone who's come back recently and played the original CB1, it's still astounding CB is alive and well more than two decades later. Years of fun had and many friends made through it all. Thanks Jon for CB! And best of luck with the future!
