Question about Challenge Bonus (in General)

Hi there,

i reached a PR where my challenge bonus is not at 100% when i stick to my high-pr opponents.

I do get 100% choosing those high score but low pr opponents, but my stats show me lower xp/cb$ rewards for those:

From top to Lord Bob are low pr but high score, showing the 100% challenge bonus, the lower ones are higher pr with not 100% but still higher average XP per minion. (The number on the left is the number of fights that were averaged, the +- at the end is the statistic confidence interval).



Somewhere in the forums or help is said "everyone in the 6BA range does not receive negative challenge bonus".
How is this to understand? Does it mean i won't get negative challenge bonus only (like never -20%), but that it's simply not possible to get 100% anymore?

Is there maybe some rule that only applies to the top 10 players in score/pr/mpr or whatever?

Does the displayed challenge bonus change, or is the reduced penalty only applied but not shown?

.. yes, it's only 10 fights each, but it stays close to that for lots of more fights and 1.3k difference in average XP is quite significant too.

The challenge bonus maxes out at 100% when the opponents Score is twice your VPR.

Basically, to maximize challenge bonus at your level, you need to lower your PR as much as you can while still being able to kill opponents with high PR/Score. Unequip massive PR weight items as much as you can while farming and your challenge bonus will go up (basically high NW weapons and then huge items). Poppy used to be very good at doing this, basically would have no items equipped and take out the highest teams he could.

Yes, that's what i'm doing. But my RoBF gives most of the remaining PR-Boost, and i want to train it further up of course. So ok, then i will keep fighting like this for now.

Yes there is a hidden bonus/ calculation. If you fight opponents that give 100% challenge bonus but have much lower PR, you will get a lower reward. You are correct with the negative challenge bonus in the 6 BA regen range. You won't ever receive a negative challenge bonus.

There also seems to be some hidden penalty when fighting opponents with high PR and very low networth.

E.g. Backrooms Lvl3999 gives me significant lower XP, that is not explainable with the challenge bonus and was also visible when i still had 100% challenge bonus.

.. i will verify all of those after my NUB, but currently i cannot waste those high value BAs for my curiosity :)
