Looking forward to anything in the season? Who's your team, and how do you think they'll perform?
I'm a Seahawks fan, so last year was a pleasant surprise (I saw the defense being at least close to as good as they were, but the OL improvement was absolutely inconceivable. OL play has been the bane of the Seahawks for at least a decade, and now it's suddenly a strength??!?!?!). Now expectations are higher than ever, and our division rival saw us win one little Super Bowl and decided to assemble the damn Avengers... They traded for the second-most dominant defensive force of this generation, and it has the first considering coming out of retirement to play side by side. Scary thought, but I've trusted in the coaching and the GM to keep the squad competitive, and even on their worst seasons, they have yet to let me down.
I grew up watching Montana and Rice, been a life long 49ers fan.

Life long seahawk fan, The Dark Side definitely felt like the LOB from the 2013/2014 years. Cant wait to see how well they work with their moves this year. Jadavian Price is going to have a breakout year I'm feeling it now.
I think it's gonna be a tough year for the run game. The o line (specifically the left side) is getting strong, so it could be a breakout from anyone in the right situation. But the division is stacking their D line, trying to mimic a fraction of Seattle's power.
I think Fleury is gonna scheme up a bunch of quickout/misdirection plays. Barner and Shaheed will feast while defenses focus on JSN, and then as soon as they lose focus, he'll make them pay. I think Darnold finally has every doubt he's ever had off his back and is in a system designed to keep the pressure off. He's gonna ball out and have an MVP season.
NFL script writers are kinda lazy though, giving Seattle and Philly the same story line. NFC birds with two super bowls, the best throwback uniforms in the league, putting up 40+ points against a future HoF QB in a Super Bowl, getting beat by the Patriots in a Super Bowl, and beating the Patriots in a Super Bowl, and both with a division "rival" who brags about having more Championships, in spite of not winning one in the lifetime of 96% of currently active players.

Im always dredging the NFC west smack talk and memes and all I regularly read is some 40 whiners fans dissing on Seattle when they havent even won a superbowl since the 90's
I think it's hilarious how often they use AI to make all of their numerous points and arguments like "5>2" and *checks notes* well, just that one argument. I don't even bring up how the salary cap has been a bigger nemesis to the organization than the substation could ever be. I just point out that I actually have memories of watching my team win in real time, and that you shouldn't be allowed to use AI to talk smack if your team hasn't won anything since before the invention of Javascript.
If they're 35 or under, I brand em as delusional. I give more of a pass to fans like edy who have actually seen their team be successful, but I'm still of the opinion that it is a "what have you done for me lately?" league. History is great and all, but recency is relevance. I figured our first SB started to lose relevance when Kam retired due to injury, and was completely irrelevant, aside from a nice memory, by the time Sherm went to SF. Without the LoB, we're not the team that won that Super Bowl. The last couple years, I've begrudgingly acknowledged that there is only one relevant Super Bowl in the division, and barely (Rams win 4 years ago will maintain relevance as long as they have Stafford and McVay, although with over half the roster and coaching staff overhauled, it's tenuous at best). Here's to a fresh one!
Fun fact: Khosla may have had to sell his stake in San Francisco to buy the Seahawks, but he still gets to own both on game day :p 41>6
