I liked Waterworld....../:

Million Dollar Baby was probably the worst 2 and a half hours I've spent recently. I not only want my money back, but I want those 2 and a half hours back. I could have been sleeping, or eating, or cleaning the bathroom. At least The Hulk movie had Jennifer Connolly in it. (But I like Waterworld. It was trash but I thought it was quite entertaining. Sometimes that's enough! But I am slightly ashamed of myself. Talk about guilty pleasures...) (Incase anyone is actually interested to see what films I do like: original Star Wars trilogy, Grosse Pointe Blank, Amelie, The Third Man, To Have and Have Not, The Royal Tennenbaums, Planet of The Apes (original), King Kong (original), Wizard of Oz, Alien, Blade Runner, Brazil, Baron Munchausen, Lost In Translation, Near Dark. Many more besides...)

Driven: that disaster by Sly Stallone

I can't agree with your choice of films above. Some of them might be awful, but they can't be "the worst". There's an imdb thread defining "the worst" and a list of candidates at that site. Personally, I feel "Driven" by Sly Stallone is the worst film I've ever seen. Its plot sucks, its characters suck, and even the computer graphics were tacky. Wonder what they spent the millions on.

Waterworld was cool! Reminded me of Mad Max, was very typical of films from that era (Demolition man, Terminators etc.) lots of gratuitous action and not too much thought, but still had a plot and storyline.
Have to say though, Million Dollar Baby looks rubbish, I don't need to see it. Would have liked to see more films on this list, I'm sure theres worse out there ;P

For instance: Legally Blonde 1 & 2, Italian Job (remake), Taxi (remake)... In actual fact I can't think of any good remade film... Mars Attacks, Stealth (omg), The Patriot etc. etc. etc.

Honestly, Plan 9 is "bad" but informative, The new King Kong was amazing except fo rthe first half hour or so, Police Academy 1 was a funny movie, and Waterworld I thought was pretty interesting.

So I voted Police Academy while guessing Alone in the Dark to be the worst before looking at reviews. edit: indeed it was
Why Waterworld is doing this bad I don't know. Costner drinking urine, an exploding tanker, seige via jetski, and Hopper as a one-eyed pirate is down right entertaining.

i liked water world but the worst film in my dvd collection is 'blackhawk down' brought it thinking osscar winner etc must be good .. hated it, soo boring (and i usually like that type of thing such, a waste of money)

Blackhawk Down is a great movie. I'm shocked you could claim it to be worst ever. Maybe not liking it, but worst ever? I pretty much hated The Producers after the first 5min. But voted for Alone in the Dark. But why wasn't Battlefield Earth (think thats the name) on this list? Or even Gigli?

Superman Returns

The new Superman movie is honestly one of the worst movies I can remember. I love Superhero movies. And Superman is my favorite hero. But during the movie all I could do was wish for the movie to be over so I could go to sleep. It's a really, really boring movie. The only reason they made it was to milk Superman's popularity.

And The Nightmare Before Christmas was pretty bad too.

Dana Delany's appearance in Exit to Eden was the high point, but it was offset by the appearance of Rosie O'Donnell in bondage gear. It nearly tied Kathy Bates' nude romp in At Play in the Fields of the Lord, imho, for defining eye poison
