I think this is actually why AoD doesn't rock. Thank you, Mr. Freed, for pointing that out to everyone.
And how is it that one person, for a couple unsuccessful days, thinks they can raise the price of CB after it's been set for months, and then everyone else thinks they can follow suit?
QBOddBird
September 13 2007 11:02 AM EDT
What's so wrong with AoD trying to make it a seller's market and everyone following suit? Doesn't make him a bad person. Cut him some slack, Mem.

Hey you get what you pay for. I'm sure that the CB$ you get from those low-ball vendors is icky and used up. Like the bills you used to get from gas station attendants back when there used to be such a thing and people used cash. Those bills were wrinkly and stinky and sometimes even had pieces missing and beards drawn on the presidents!!!
So I'm quite confident that when you pay 15 or 20$ USD for CB$ you are getting crisp minty fresh currency and can rest assured that it has been sanitized for your protection.

September 13 2007 11:56 AM EDT
True,
But a spit on, urinated on, ripped $100 bill spends just as well as one freshly minted and put into circulation.
Would you rather pay more for the same spending power? I won't.
QBRanger
September 13 2007 11:57 AM EDT
But.
It is AoD's right to sell his hard earned CB2 for however much he wants.
Whether others follow suit is their prerogative.
But... Do not complain when nobody purchases your money.
But.
It is his right to complain as much as he wants. Bonus: he has a highly-developed talent for it.

HA!! Just try and feed one of those into a vending machine!
QBRanger

Who puts a $100 into a vending machine?
Perhaps at the casino, but those machines take anything.

But, in any event....
We will stop laughing at AoD when/if he sells his CB2 to a sucker (I mean person) for his asking price.
Then he can laugh at all of us.

DANG YOU TOTO!!!!
the sad thing is though, that AoD was serious.
he really want 15 dollars to the million-yes that's double to current price.
i laugh at him :) the only hope he has of selling it is if every other seller to USD is put out of business.
not likely to happen at any point in time, so laugh away, and sooka...i do not appreciate your use the the monkey, just rub the dolphin...

September 14 2007 3:54 AM EDT
Perhaps it's because AoD needs to convert those US$ to € and currently the US$ is very low? ;)
That's such an optimistic view of the decision-making process involved in this case of price setting, Bart.

You know...
As silly as this really is, did we really need an entire thread insulting AoD? No.
"Like, omg, did you SEE her clothes. I can't believe she's wearing those. I mean... like... like... like... they're... 2 minutes ago. Oh Em Gee."
50 girls around above girl with no brain: "Omg, like, you're totally right. And totally pretty. And like... right"
Do we really need this?
As a side note... Lol, AoD. Good luck.
On a side, side note... I've been tipped by goats more times than I've managed to tip them.
On a side, side, side note... it's 6:20 A.M. and I haven't gone to sleep yet. Feel free to ignore this post at your own discretion. But, really, enough with the player bashing.
yep im really funny cuz i sell it for 15usd, it used to cost so why is it funny that i sell it for that much?

Godwolf - if the goats are tipping you, you aren't doing it right. Are you startling them properly? If the startling technique is performed properly, goats are self-tipping. You may have the wrong species or perhaps your goats are exceptionally robust.

"Anyone can try to sell $CB at any rate they want."
I can also sell my poop at $50 a pound. Doesn't mean it's a smart thing to do, however.
"Stop compaining about AoD's rate."
I see no complaining, just a lot of pointing and laughing.
"As silly as this really is, did we really need an entire thread insulting AoD?"
AOD is often found trying to take advantage of new, unsuspecting players by tricking them into paying absurdly high rates for everything. Things like what Freed did as well as this thread are beacons to those not wary of AOD's continued enterprises. It's not about insulting AOD per se. It's more about preventing the uninformed from being bamboozled.

It should all be over soon, people. I have offered Freed a deal, and he has accepted:
To: Freed Sent: September 13 9:58 AM EDT Delivered: September 14 2:30 AM EDT
I'll pay your CB$ price, if, when negotiating with AoD, you get him to change his name to Tinkerbell, and never again speak of "taking souls" in chat. ;)

NS, Hows he trying to take advantage of newer players?
In his thread he admitted it was higher than normal: "yep you saw it right 15usd and don't come whining because its to high, i don't keep me to the current marketprice, so no pms about lower prices its 15usd"
So you can take that comment out of this thread and stop trying to say it wasnt a try at bashing AoD, cuz thats all i see with this thread... Like every other USD thread, PEOPLE DONT HAVE TO BUY IT, so just let it go...
A little reading comprehension goes a long way, SmallPaul. Look at what he actually wrote.

Passing: Palmer (CIN) 401 yards
Rushing: Lewis (CLE) 215 yards
Receiving: Johnson (CIN) 209 yards
:P th00p is trying to make money for his ski socks, he he. Bad th00pies
What might i have misread? NS said AoD was taking advantage of unsuspecting players, but AoD said in his FS thread that he knew the prices were high. So if i was a new player, i would see that and not pay attention to it, or look for other FS threads if i wanted to even buy CB... If i misread something else, please enlighten me.
When was there another point of taking advantage of unsuspecting players?
