Any ideas how much protection is needed to avoid the FB friendly fire?

From what I hear on the street you need a cloak of balrog flame to protect you.

doesn't AC reduce the damage though?
yeah, but since AC reduces dmg, it would be a sliding scale as to how much AC you would need to block out that splash, fully depending on the size of your FB.

Gah...so that explains why there's so much MM. Why no love for Cone of Cold then?
If AC is still an ~0.21% reduction per point, then it doesn't matter how large your FB is, around +477 AC would make you immune to it.
As for CoC, it received a nerf. Range 1.
It only fires in melee combat now, losing one ranged attack.
