To all: please use Carnage or room "Market" for FS/WTB (in General)

New Players is almost being flooded with people selling and buying things and asking over and over.

I myself and with me some other chat ops and probably also admins would like to ask every player not to use New Players for selling / buying items.

The reason for this is that even though we all are apparently 'newbs' there still are people joining without ANY clue whatsoever about this game and they need the help they can get. also we don't have Mentors yet so this task is a bit more difficult to perform.

one exception should be made however and that is for people offering to buy supportership for someone (getting USD for Jon is a good cause as it helps everyone in the long run)

Yep, I agree.

Advertise a sale, we /kick. It's just a warning, don't worry too much about it but don't keep trying to sell in NP.

Errr, I wasn't online when SHade was finishing up the post, but I'm fully supporting this motion (as I was one of the founders of it lol)

I agree also.
With the player count in NP today being well over 90 at any given time, it is very hard to keep up with those that truly need help.

Do you know when we will be able to sign up for mentoring

The mentor program is suspended until the influx of cb1 players subsides.

I assume it will be less than a week.

maybe also to contain people who need to loan + need to have loaned, a tattoo?

sign me up on this as well...while everyone is pretty much new to this game there are those that are new to the cb universe as a whole and these people need a lot of guidance, especially since a lot of the helpful things we had on cb1 are not on here (Lumpbot where are you!?!?!?!)

spamming chat makes it very difficult for everyone involved in trying to help the new players

and props to the ops for their firm stance on this :-)
