dex question (in General)

i fight against Spid, and he has dexterity of 5179. my dex (post battle listing) is 5192. he hits me 4 times in melee, i only hit him 2:

he prolly has good sword to make sure he hits, but y am i missing when i got greater dexterity? no evasion anywhere in the formula...

Probably depends on the +on your weapon and the + on his weapon, my guess his is higher..

i know + can effect, but how does plus on his sword help him dodge me? ain't that all based on dex compare?

maybe its not longer true here but i was reading stuff on CB1 where a little dex being greater at all made huge differnce in hitting and missing. that one post had a Spid too, but that monster was lots bigger! :)
