Help me with my Strat. (in General)

help! My strategy isnt working very well at all... i cant seem to defeat many people at all with the same NW as me. Usually i only get good wins at about 8k lower nw than me... and by wins i mean able to defeat atleast 1/2 on a list of opponents... can anyone recommend any untrains or changes to make?

one suggestion that falls into the "hella obvious" category is, your ice familiar is the first in line to die, but he won't cast CoC until melee. Put him as far back as you can instead and maybe you'll get some use out of him.

With 4 minions _and_ a DD familiar you might want to convert one of your MM into AS instead.

IMO,

The ice familiars are the weakest of all the spell caster familiars. CoC is a good spell but does not "fire" until melee. By that time a lot of battles are already over. By then 3 missle rounds have occurred. A tattoo of fire or steel is far better.

Also, as Jon said, put that tattoo last.

Also, a Tattoo of Ice has but 20 hp. One fireball and its toast. So you need to cast Ablative Shield (AS) to get it some hp to try to live enough to be useful. However, if an opponent has both Dispel Magic and Fireball, it will likely die in the first round of missle.

If you can trade that Tattoo of Ice for a Tattoo of Jig then you'll be better off without AS since you already have trained some hp on your mages. If you want to keep the Tattoo of Ice, then you'll almost certainly need to have AS to keep it alive to be useful.

Just a suggestion.

I know about the tattoo thing, im not as stupid as I appear to be... but im close, I just got the LToI and I had it up front because i was really just leveling it, not using it.

I'm in the process of trying to get my dear dear mother to net me a supportership with her credit card, but more or less, if i had a means to get a ToJ I would use it :-D

And I know about CoC firing during melee, and I believe you have told me that once before, when my strat was like FB / FB / COC or something but i might be wrong. So thats why I didn't worry about putting that little tat in the back, I dont have ablative shield so he would just die anyways >.<

hmm... if you want to level the Tattoo, shouldn't you aim to win? :) Just do what Jon says, it's rare that he gives advise on strats !!!!

I've decided to make a whole new 4 minon team... its going to be a EETM team but i need help on what to make the E's cast... i was thinking AMF and AS ... any suggestions?
