Was just thinking of this but if all ToJ's train Unarmed Combat does that mean that they will also receive the beneficial bonuses of Gi and Helm's Gauntlets?
just remembered :P ToJ and Gi are body armors, so in this case you can only equip 1 or the other :P but onto the helm's gauntlets, would the ToJ still receive the bonus for the HG's?

no they don't get the bonus from those items.
why not? It would be cool if they would get bonus :D maybe not as much as HG would give if u urself trained UC but like 25%bonus of what the HG would give anyway :P

Just assume that a familiar would get bonuses to UC if it could equip those items. There is no way to prove it one way or the other, so indulge yourself.
Then you can start wishing that it was possible to equip items on familiars.
