Funny, there are more tojs in the game then almost ALL the most basic items.

Good, that means we have a lot of supporters.
Don't worry. Jon probably plans to change the supporter item soon. Since the ToJ (apparently) doesn't spawn, we won't be getting many more of them in the game.

Its a little less cash then that since some got a supportship for 5 USD.
However, I have to say (and this is NOT a suck up), for a text based game, this is the most addictive one I have yet to find.
Just my 2 cents.
Pleb: $5,500 - <server upgrades> - <increased bandwidth requirements> - <misc expense> = net.
I suppose that the game pays for itself (if you discount Jon's time maintaining and expanding the game). But I doubt his net is very big.
I imagine he does it for the sheer enjoyment of creating something for other people to enjoy.
Either that, or it's some kind of twisted sociology experiment :-D
