Black Market Voting Guide Week 6 (in General)

Alright week 6 and the amounts of votes to spawn the items have increased.

What did we get from the last weeks:

more Lesser Tattoos and more normal Tattoos EXCEPT the Tattoo of Endurance which still only has 9 of them...

we also have enough Compound Bows and Katanas in the game that we tried to get early on.

also we got some nice mage armor things like MCM and CoBF few weeks ago so that should do fine atm also.

I will display a series of votes / amount of items in game and it will have EXCLUDED the items with no votes on them.

226 votes for unspawned items

If I check for items that have less than 5 votes (1 2 3 and 4 votes) then I see 53 votes utterly useless cast.

If I then look at the items that we already have a lot of (Katana, Executioners Sword, Compound ) then I see an additional 22 votes that could have been better used.

adding them up will make 75 votes that could have been relocated for better use which is 33% of all current votes!!! (which would have been an additional item)

So please stop voting on things we have enough of already (Execs, Katanas, Compounds, Lesser Tattoos and most normal Tattoos) for a while.


Elven Long Bow and Cloak of Balrog Flame both have quite a nice number of votes so they should be continued and made that they spawn.


After that some people have asked me to try and get out some more heavier tank armor such as Adamantite Cuirass, Chain Mail Leggings and the such.

Summary: (order in which to check for what to vote for)

1: Elven Long Bow or Cloak of Balrog Flame: These are voted on quite much. Get these spawned so we don't waste the votes already cast.

2: Adamantite Cuirass or Chain Mail Leggings or some other Tank armor that you see more than 10 votes on

3: Executioners Sword: it doesn't need many more votes (40% done & 18 more required)

4: Cloak of the Istari or Displacement Boots: both have 10 votes and could be done in week 7 as main theme.

We have 600+ Tattoos of Jigorokano which means 600+ supporters, which means 600+ votes for the Black Market!!!

Ok so the Cloak of Balrog Flame, the Executioners Sword, Katana and a Mithril Chain Mail have been spawned, but:


1: the MCM nor the Katana were asked for, people asked for Tank armor!

2: Compound Bow and Steel Brigandine? I mean come on those items are worth only 50K tops all together and people manage to get THEM out instead of MUCH more valued items? bah!

3: people are voting for ELB, Coi, DB but none of the items that people have asked for earlier.

These items combined have 8 votes and had 7 voted on Monday morning.
WOW 1 complete vote increased on the items that have been asked for!!!

anyway ELB is going good still but the rest of the votes seem to be a bit stagnant alas, but indeed its mid week.

but why this?

still I give credit 17 votes and it got spawned... nice done but not what was the goal... perhaps just forget about those armors and continue to spam out Katanas until everyone has their own copy of 'look im almost good but not good enough?' (i myself have a katana also so i'm part of it :D)

anyway i hope next week will be a bit more organized from the communities part :P

and while im at it: keep on voting people!!!

I am a big supporter of the BMG.

However, many people with low NW would much rather spawn a katana that they have a chance of getting rather than help some other guy get a rare that they themselves have no chance in heck of obtaining. It is just that simple.

The BMG will be a million times more useful in two to three months when more pople have CB to spend and feel like they have a chance at cool rares.

I wanna' end this by saying that Shade rocks for putting this together. Thanks man.

ok i admit, getting a Katana does help 'draining the money out' and it makes someone able to have his/her very own Katana but it wasn't this weeks 'goal'

If people would ask me to have Katana as main goal then i would say: "Hey let's do that, everyone vote Katanas so we could have a max of 37 Katanas in Black Market Auctions"

anyway put up your 'votes' for next week cause we can still change next weeks goal if you want to...

The analysis is nice (and may help convince some), but I bet the majority of people are just looking for a one-word edict on what to vote for (and put the actual dates and item in the title) ;)

I have to agree with Bolfen, put "BMVG <date>, <item>" in the title and you've got my vote but I honestly couldn't be bothered reading through much more.
