Another Fantastic Idea! (in Off-topic)

I see that there is a plethora of posts suggesting bad ideas lately. So here's a good idea (imo). Let's put every single thread about new items, or new skills, or ideas how to change the game, in this thread here, to save Jon the time of looking for them. (laugh) In case you have your sarcasm meters off, that's what this thread is about.

Look you guys, leave the half baked ideas in your head. Jon is a fantastic game creator, and almost never uses any of them. The only ideas I have seen him use are cosmetic changes, or possibly new statistics. Granted, I have come up with a few horrible ideas myself, that is why I decided to stop posting them, as they are never thought through fully, or I lack the understanding of programming it would take to pull them off.

Please ensue with the flaming, berating, bickering, and spite. Or just post your fantastic new ideas here. :P

So wait your good idea is to keep all the bad ideas in one place???

Well, just to kick things off, for a silly idea I would like to see a stock market in the Businesses. You can buy/sell shares of different items. They go up, you gain money, down you lose. Have share value be based on item market value. Then if you collect enough shares (like blackmarket votes), a base one spawns into the shareholder's inventory. How crazy/cool would that be??? It'd be able to slowly but surely work towards a ELS or something. They'd be more expensive than straight market purchasing, but if you changed your mind you could sell shares to others that would be wanting to work towards an ELS or whatever.

Most ideas are half-baked, but some good ideas come from half-baked ones. I believe the concept of Unarmed Combat was one of those (if I remember correctly from CB1). :P Ideas should not be discarded off-hand as this may be the basis of an actually really good idea.

I do agree though that some of the ideas showing up are sooooo good that they have already been added to FORS. :P

I suggested a few minor changes in CB1 that were blasted for being stupid or pointless, but within a month, Jon had added them. So just because other players think something is stupid, doesn't mean everyone (even Jon) will think so. It doesn't hurt anyone for people to express their opinions, and some good just might come of them.
