not sure what is wrong here but in about 80% of my fights against people without EC my DX is 20k. It should be 27k without the ToA and 50k with it.

Had your enemy at that time been equipped with an axbow maybe?
i realized i didn't have my melee weapon equiped. but i don't see why only using a bow would take away 30k DX. No one i was fighting had an Axbow.

There's a penalty for using a ranged weapon in melee isn't there? I thought it was just reduced damage but...
anyone else know anything useful?
i believe its something like a 40% DX penalty for using a bow in melee
i'm pretty sure it's more than 40% if that's what it is. 50k down to 20k.

On cb1, your DX is divided by 3 (or something close to 3) when using ranged weapons in melee rounds. I suppose it must be the same on cb2. The fights where your DX is normal are probably fights that end in 3 rounds or less (and then you don't end up in melee and don't have the penalty).
