Hi all,
I have a Corn and COI on my enchanter so I should get a 10% bonus to my spell levels--6 for the corn and 4 for the CoI.
But the exact levels of his skill are:
Antimagic Field: 211,156/196,425 (?)Guardian Angel: 36,748/34,473 (?)
Therefore im getting only a 7.5% bonus to my AMF and 6.5% to my GA.
The only other items I have on him are a set of EB and LG's which have no penalties, aside for the corn and CoI
Can anyone explain why I dont get the full magic boost of the 2 items?
Thanks for your time.
Magic bonuses/penalties on shown on items are based on how they affect DD.. they have a lesser affect on EO and ED (descending DD->EO->ED).
heh, I'll be damned if I can find where I read that again... I'll keep looking and post the link here when and if I find it again
ah.. from the cbplayers New Players Guide..
"Some armor has magic penalties/bonuses. These impact the different types of magic differently; Direct Damage spells are impacted 100%, Offensive Enchantments are impacted 75%, and Defensive Enchantments are impacted 66%"

That explains the 7.5 and 6.5 percent bonuses i get.
