Bug: Hiring a minion? (in General)

I hired a new minion a little while ago, but no money was deducted, and it seems like the minion didn't start with the correct amount of experience. Here are some details:

When I go to hire a minion, I have two options:

Enlist for $775,797 
Enlist for $310,318 

I had about 780k $CB2, and after I clicked on the higher amount, no money was deducted. Both of the enlist costs would have been enough to notice.

The minion started with about 200k EXP - I'm not sure, but that doesn't seem like very much, considering that I "paid" over $700k. Of course, nothing was deducted, so...

Has anyone else experienced this? Any suggestions as to what I should do?

As I remember if you choose the higher priced minion you get 1 xp for every 3 dollars. If you choose the lower one you get 1 xp for every 5 dollars you spend. So just over 200k xp is about right for the higher priced one.
