Hi pplz. Does any1 have any clue on how i can hook up my Creative Muvo TX FM mp3 player to my Acura's 1.7EL stock audio system? I've heard of using a FM modulator to try and sync it to the cars system but the quality is badly degraded. And I wouldn't like to waste any cash on that idea. Any1 have any techniques/ideas that can help me out? Maybe some sort of aftermarket component or messin around with the cars audio components and what not. Any information leading to me successfully hooking up this setup will be rewarded with 10K. And btw i dont have a line-in jack. :(

Is there a cassette player in the audio system? If so you can get a cassette adaptor, just hook it up to the line-out jack of your MP3 player and it'll play via the cassette.

Here's a link, to an example of what I'm talking about

but while using that beware that the cassette player doesn't have an automatic rewind / tape turn over system.

if it does have then it won't accept the tape and will constantly try to flip over to the other side of the 'fake' tape.

thx yaW gnorW, unfortunately my car doesn't have a cassette player :| only a stock CD system. btw is it ez to install a cassette player in my car?

I wouldn't go that route anyhow due to quality. Let me ask a friend who worked some mp3 player magic with his car.

Since you don't have a cassette player, forget about what i suggested.

Best thing is to take your car to a car entertainment specialist and get them to suggest a solution.

You might even want to upgrade to a better sound system also, if you want 'quality.'

Shade, that's not always true. I have a tape adapter I use with my reo sport all the time, and my car has auto reverse.

I guess you don't have active amplifiers to all speakers, but that would work.
