hi i have been playing and have a warrior type minion who has about 2000 health 1500 st & 1500 dx
now i just recruited a new minion equiped him with magic missile and also tried using cone of cold, his dx is at 1000, and so is mm and coc
so whats going on, he doesnt even get envolved in the battle do i need to set something or what?
sorry if this is the wrong place to ask couldnt find anywhere else

CoC doesn't fire until melee rounds start

Also on a side note a Mage's Dex has no effect on if he hits the opponent.

i see, it says that using the fireball spell hurts friendly minions unless protected how do i protect them? and is fireball used in the ranged round?
look at where spell descriptions says "range"

Why shouldn't a mage dex have effect on the hit. Should make the mage more accurate. Maybe higher dex on a mage should shrink the "variability" window in the spell.

Your DX is compared to that of a tanks DX.
The result of the comparison determines how many hits per round the tank gets on you.
If your DX matches his then it is 'suggested' he willl get 1 hit per round.
If he has more DX than you he has a chance of getting 2 hits per round from the DX.
If he has less DX than you then he may get 1 hit per round or non.
Your DX has no effect on the outcome of fights against mages and enchanters.

also magic is a random thing and is released by thoughts rather than the movement of arms or so...
