today i have a quite important test but i can't make it because the trains don't 'drive' because of a power failure of the Dutch Railways.
also i can't go by bike because i'd come too late and by bus i will miss the test also
grrrrrrrrr :(

Power failure? Tough luck ... and yeah, the NS (Dutch Railways) is best at keeping you away from where you want to go. It's incredible how many problems they have sometimes. Well, at least you can ask (part of) your money back for every half hour of delay. I once traveled for 8 hours on a single day, instead of the usual 5... had to tour all across the Netherlands to get home 8-)

Did you guys here about the guy in NYC that was sent to jail for his like 14th attempt at hijacking a train?
Our automobile fetish may be environmentally and otherwise egregious, but we can always go anywhere we want. :-)
