Is there any way you can delete a character that you made?
Manage Characters > Retire Selected (after clicking the appropriate box)

thanks I didn't know if that was for minions or characters.
that was for characters. to fire minions click train then fire the minion you no longer want.

But fire a minion and you lose all his XP
