go into control panel> add or remove programs
see if you have WinTools, or Seeq Toolbar, or AimSearch, or GameBar, or anything relating to Cash returns or what not...uninstall them all

can you post a couple screenshots the ads that you get and the problems that you have?
Besides Adaware you should get Spybot-Search & Destroy and Spywareblaster. Also if you don't have a firewall Zone Alarm's free one is pretty good.

Download the Microsoft anti-spyware tool. Better than you'd think.
Delete any browser helper objects. Google will tell you how.
Assuming you are using IE, stop. Use firefox. activex controls are how many spywares work, and they are IE only (to an extent)

please post free sites and places to download those programs to get rid of all this stuff!!!!
I agree with sasq, you can find Microsoft Anti-Spyware here:
http://www.microsoft.com/athome/security/spyware/software/default.mspx

get a firewall
Spyware Blaster stops programs and active x controls running in the first place. Get it here:
www.javacoolsoftware.com/sbdownload.html
Spybot Seach and Destroy gets rid of stuff already on your computer. Get it here:
www.safer-networking.org/en/download/
HD Cleaner is really useful for removing manually stuff that shouldn't be there and some that should (like quicktime auto update) by deleting startup autoruns. Also really good for just tidying up. Get it here:
www.topdownloads.net/software/view.php?id=9141
Finally I use the Google toolbar as it has a great pop up blocker and it doesn't forcedly change your homepage or anything stupid. Get this here:
http://www.google.co.uk/downloads/
Oh and firewalls might help too :P
Oh and they can be really cheeky with installing programs sometimes. Make sure you read all the text, dont just 'click'. For instance, this got me once:
"Would you like to install blah?"
YES.............NO
(NO obviously)
"Are you sure you don't want to install blah?"
YES.............NO
chose no that time again but that meant I did want the program installing. Took ages to get all the myriad of files and startups off my computer I can tell you. :S

How would a popup get your CC info?
It would not, unless you entered it, or have it saved as something trivial on your computer. Either of each being true leaves you to be beaten for doing so.
Get Ad-aware, and get Spy Bot S&D.
Those together will stop all issues you have, run ad-aware until it comes back clean.
Then run Spy bot until it comes back clean, running the UPDATE for both programs prior to starting and getting ALL updates.
After Spy bot is done running, look to the left side, there will be an immunize function, use it. Scroll down and check the last box, and select block all pages silently.
Stop looking at porn and warez.

About the bank statement, do this:
1. Call your bank and ask them to investigate. You probably have to fill out a form but you will get money back. Say the transaction is not authorized.
2. Fill a complaint with FCC against the company that did it.
3. Go another step and fill complaint with BBB.
4. If you get more unauthorized transaction to your account, contact your state policy.

You should definitely use firefox and NOT Internte Explorer. IE has so many ways for adware/spyware to install themselves onto your computer, while I can run firefox, go to the same sites, and not get a single infection after months of use.
how would i get fire fox? free?? sombody lend me a hand :)
