Goodbye Tribute (in Contests)

A raffle to giveaway Tribute.

Entries must name how I shall be remembered by each entrant. Also, tell me why you like CB. Please do not repeat the same things that other people before you say.

The winner will be judged by me to see where Tribute 192K PR will go. There will be no entry fee.

I'll remember you by giving you a tribute every April 20th. I like CB1 because its old school and the community has heart, and I like CB2 because.... hmm. Lemme think...

I will remember you by wearing your equipment and items you give me. :) I like CB because it is unique in a sea of normalcy.

i like CB because the community for the most part is extremely honest.

i will remember you by this post. and i wouldn't change thename of the char but slayer said that :P...and i like CB because its a nice community where i can go and chill and just talk to people.like if i am getting yelled at by my parents i can just come here and tune everything out its really great.

I will remember you as the player who goes to the same school as me and I never found out who you are. I'll miss you, even though I probably see you everyday.
I like CB because, well, it's simple, fun, and addicting =)

i shall remember you tribute for the few times that you denied my low ball bids on an item, as well as the great CBer you are, when it comes to it a tribute, to tribute shall be made monthly to a newbie in your honor. Cb i like because ive made so many friends here and everybody is like a large family or village, you have those of us that are merchants, those of us that are the fighters, then the wiser ones who offer advice, and the younger who heed it. Cb has become a lil break from real life and a indulgance into a community where we are friends even though we attempt to slaughter each other to get rewards none of us wish to see you go sweethart, but if real life becons who are you to say no, be safe, be sweet, and remember you always have a friend here

I will remember you by saying "RL.I.P Tribute"once a day in chat. I will explain what this means to all those who ask and tell them about Tribute.

I won't forget Tribute because i will name one of my Characters after Tribute (the fee is 50k but i don't care). I like CB because it gives me something to do when i am bored and i made tons of new friends, including you, Tribute. And hopefully ou consider me a friend too. =) CB is very friendly and always has changes so it never gets boring. Go and enjoy the real life! =)

I shall remember you mainly because of your clan, Tribute Nation. I used to fight the character Tribute a lot, and got some good points out of that, with the former Cats. I also think you were one of the first people who wanted to quit CB2. It's sad that it's finally happening, but the idea has been around longer, right?

I like CB mainly because of the community. Fighting is fun, but not when there aren't any people to talk to. Carnage is dead most of the time, but the forums are always active. It's nice to keep track of who's doing what and all ... CB's like one big family!

Anyway, although I don't think I've ever spoken you in chat, it was fun to have you around!

you will be honored and remembered as a person who donated to a great cause as i will use your character to help new players get used to the game. the money on your character will be loaned and partitioned out to newer players with intrest free loans so they can make more mistakes (its part of the learning process im told). they will remember you by when they ask me why i would do this for them when no one else will, ill say that a great man "Tribute" donated to your cause to help you in your time of need.

i love cb1 and cb2, because its a close knit community. everyone here is soo similar, yet completely different. here school, work bad relationships and problems melt away like your giant fireball melts the flesh off someone elses minions. its a way to bring a smile to your face on a bad day as you finally make that perfect deal, find that rare in the store, or hit that pr mark u were after. then, when u get off the computer, whatever was the problem just doesnt seem so bad anymore. i also like it because of the helpfulness of the people here. everyone is willing to lend a hand (some for a price however :D ) but they can help you with things inside and out of the game. people in here are different from most mmorpg's in that they understand that this is not "reality" there is life outside of CB. you can talk about anything here, and with such nice people willing to help, who wouldnt llove it. i would love to be one of those people that takes a newbie under his wing, and watchs him grow in pr, seeing him through all the important first benchmarks...first 1k hit, reaching 10k pr...nabbing that "awsome" wep. i want to share that with a newbie, just like someone shared that with me...

thats how people will remember you tribute.

a little clarification, im not talking about leaving a minion name, or a link to your site on my char page, or anything of that sort, im talking about leaving a lasting legacy. character names are forgotten, the meaning and motives stay around.

I'll remember joining your clan, then about two days later you leaving. I thought it was awesome that you left Tribute nation and it managed to stay named that, even after you left. That was awesome.

As for things I like about Cb...

I love how everyone here has such a great sense of humor. Cb in essence isn't all that exciting of a game, yet a feel compelled to come here and click for hours a day, mostly to crack jokes and small talk with a bunch of yahoos I don't even know.

Honestly, I'm too much of a noob to remember Tribute personally, but how would I cause Tribute to be remembered? First, I think that saving keeping the names of a character and/or minions would become meaningless in the long term, because they become attached to the individual who created and developed them. Someone else playing Tribute would be like replacing James Earl Jones with Gilbert Godfried (the "AFLAC duck") as the voice of Darth Vader.
No, I would pay the fee to name a couple of items with Tribute's name in them, like a corn with "Helm of Tribute", or a Katana called "The Wrath of Tribute", or something like that. Then I would forge and forge and forge until they were the most powerful item of that type in the game, and the name would rest atop the meta-stats.
That way, even if I quit, or sold them, it would keep the name around much longer, and I'm sure someone else would continue to extend the name when the time came, too.

Why do I like CB2? Again, I'm too much of a noob to talk about the community yet, but ya'll seem pretty nice. I like that it's challenging. I like the challenge of deciding between my personal preferences and what strats will actually work to make it to the top, and then finding a happy medium that's successful. I like negotiating and bidding. I like the idea that Jonathan throws a monkey wrench in every other month, forcing one to re-think strats. I just like to be challenged.

I will remember you well. You gave me a shot at a clan when i first started. When we even got .5 bonus' i was psyched.... thanks Tribute.... you made this game worthwhile. I always looked up to your char for some strat... i even tried it on some of my farms.

Well i like CB2 because the community is such a great environment. people just make you feel welcome.... i will miss you. Anyway i could get an email adrress?

Id make all my minions disciples of you and rename myself Priest of you. I like cb because i have AOL and i cant play any other online games (sympathy please)

I will remeber you by the way you looked so powerful and had so much more than me :P I love CB becuse it is welcoming. I know i can come home from school and get online and play this for hours, doing the same thing over and over again, but it never gets boring. I love the compettion and how nice everybody is. Sad to see you go Tribute. Hope you come back soon.

I will remember you from the simple fact of this thread and what people are saying to kiss your butt so that you will give them items. Some of them are quite genuine I am sure, but come on people, do you really feel it deep down in your heart and soul? And as my last comment, the above comments and butt kissing is one reason I love CB. There aren't many places online that people will drool over imaginary items. :)

To be honest, I probly won't remember you. Even if I get this character I would probly just rename it and use it to forge. Hey, just being honest ;)

I like CB2 because I can read messages like "Brak struck deep into Susan [ Damage ]" gotta love that.

I like CB because it's the only place i can wear Paris Hilton attire and not feel ashamed about it.
