Can someone explain explosive shots to me plz? (in General)

Exactly what do they do? Do they hit all minions? Do they always hit? Are they like mini fireballs?

I know they use slings to fire them but aside from that Im clueless (insert joke below).

Unless they've been changed from CB1, they're just slayer-type ammo for slings: they have a higher base damage and that's it.

explosive shots are like "slayer pebbles"

Explosive shot are a throwback from Sling of David days. Unless Jon brings those back, I don't see explosive shot being useful for anything.

Slurp, I think it will take more than that to make slings desirable again. *smile*

They would be useful if they were like seekers.

Without a SoD to put them in sling ammo, seeking or not, is worthless to anyone who can afford a bow or crossbow..

vendo...seeking pebbles would turn any sling into a SoD (once it was pumped to the x15+80 that the SoD had)

I think that is what he meant War...not worth pumping a sling like that? Though you would at least get all three ranged rounds with no Archery trained...

Lol, CBF wearing heavy tank with a sling. That's my guy on CB1.

That's what I have on CB1, fishead. It's the biggest staff sling, too [x18] (+100). There seem to be a lot of people still using slings on CB1, since I usually have a hard time finding Iron Shots.

I also own a rather large staff sling, ([x16] (+62) ), and I have to say, even though we don't have seeking shot, there is no comparison to my SoD.
(That decision is based on battles against straight tanks btw.)
It's that hidden base for ranged weapons in CB1, SoDs are way above normal slings.
