this has happened a few times now - look at the AMF damage to my ToF minion in melee!

with AS (no DM this battle) and its natural HP, the tat has 13448 hp. adding up all the damage to the tat
gives a total of 8766 ranged and 24273 melee.
those numbers agree with the post battle stats (which I forgot to copy down from that particular battle, so i just fought a couple more times and compared) about -19591 hp.
so I am actually getting the damage four times, not simply having it displayed.

Heh. I'm guessing Jon is making changes, in preparation for change month starting Saturday at midnight (also known as Doomsday). Something must have slipped in early.
So we can theorize that AMF will be four times as powerful as before? Well, MageBlender no more, then.

wouldn't that be nice... for some reason that made me imagine somone with a giant nerf gun (I don't know how wide-spread the brand is) shooting everything in sight with soft spongy projectiles
but Jon wouldn't start early, would he? He wouldn't ever do something that mean... Imagine, having to blend in constant fear of nerfage - horrible!

Just looks like each target it hits gives it AMF damage, rather than once for multiple targets.

well in any case it is not entirely consistent, I just fought the same char, without having trained, and did not get the extra damage.
so if it werent for Jon having told us that - if we thought we had found a bug, we were probably wrong - I would say this is a bug; however as it is, I simply keep blending and mindlessly believing the Creator... remember this is not a democracy!
I haven't made any changes recently.

It looks to me like your own GA is returning damage to your ToF familiar. Remember, your own minions take damage from your own fireball in melee. and if they have AMF or GA, that damage is returned to who ever dealt it.

your familiar simply dealt damage to 4 !!!! minions with an AMF cast. which results in 4 !!!! times AMF damage, DUH...

shade, it was not a question of me dealing more damage, but of being dealt the backlash from the fireball four times instead of one.
And what Shade said was that you were receiving the 'more' damage in _4_ blasts instead of _1_. The backlash is all from the same spell, just displayed separately for each minion hit by the spell.
Shade I thought you would know that when hitting any number of targets with DD the AMF backlash is normally shown as a single entry.

I noticed it again, same opponent etc... any suggestions on what to try and change to test for it? unequip different things?
i tried training a base DD spell on one of my minions, and it stopped.
i have not seen it happen during ranged.
I will look around and see if it happens with anyone else, but for now I also am still stumped...
