Looking for an alarm system. (in Off-topic)

I am looking for a good car alarm system to put in my 2001 RAM 1500. Please list some model numbers with features. I'm planning on spending $200-$450 before installation. It must have a shock sensor and hopefully a Guaranteed Protection Plan. Any advise on which one to go with would be greatly appreciated.

i dont have an alarm on my 2004 dodge 1500, i have a very visable single barreled shotgun resting behind the seat, yes its not loaded but stil sombody see's that and my tore up jeans and shirt next to it, they tend to believe im not the sweet and lovable Rey Rey we all know and love :) so they stay away

I recommend getting a big growling dog, those are the best burglar alarms. Plus they make great pets!

Any alarm system you get will have problems unless you get a alarm that ties directly into your engine block and disables the engine completely. I even heard from a car stereo salesmen about car alarms that most alarms can be easily defeated simply by knowing a few "tricks" about the electronics in a car. (no, I will not tell you them)

Try

Lion Security Systems

True, you can on occasion find yourself stuck inside and unable to get out, but you can
rest assured that no one will approach your vehicle with malicious intent...

yeah, i saw a few pythons that had a engine kill on them. just wondering which ones are the best for the money.

Kill Switch

This isn't an alarm, but it will make your vehicle nearly theft-proof.

You could get one of these?
