Wait, I can understand if Nixon asked people to start posting in other people's threads, but couldn't an admin simply delete these threads when they're over to stop "taking up space." I do realize that there's a fair amount of spam involved in one thread doing something like this, but Nixon's also giving a lot to the community.

40th post wins make people want to reply as soon as they can on the thread in the hope of being the lucky 40th.
that is called forum spamming and mythology once had been forum banned for it (with a contest of 100th wins that ended within 5 minutes)
