Inspired by this post and this post i would like to suggest bribing!!! :)

Jonathan with a sum of USD to make his efforts in adding some items worth of his time.

This sum of USD could also perhaps be collected in $CB2 that a player buys (or multiple in the form of smaller packs).

Now for the items:


Adamantite Leggings:
Base AC: 16
Upgrade cost: ~80% of that of CML
DX penalty: 10%
Magic penalty: 15%

A Set of Chain Mail Leggings [14] (+31) worth $2,350,764
AL (+31) would have a NW ~1.880 mil then

Adamantite Pauldrons:
Base AC: 8
Upgrade cost: similar to Tulka's
DX penalty: -5%
Magic penalty: -8%



Rogue's Coif: (would fit with Shadow Cloak and Assassins Crossbow)
Base AC: 4
Upgrade cost: similar to Elven Cloak ? (should cost a lot to get past +10)
DX bonus: 1% DX per enchantment
Magic penalty: -3%
Cannot be forged

RC [4] (+10) worth $1,069,576 (same as EC but this should be a higher imo, more like 1.5 mil)

Magic bonus: 1% Enchantments per point
DX Penalty: -3%
STR Penalty: -5%

A Tintalle Staff
[1x1] +1
Upgrade cost: Curve similar to a Lochaber Axe (inotherwords: very expensive)
Function: If x is greater, add 1/2% for each point to DD spells on char. If + is greater, add 1/2% for each point to all non-DD spells.
DX Penalty: -10%
STR Penalty: -10%

Verifex, if those had the slightest chance to be added, it would be by decreasing a percentage of HP, not DX or ST. Everyone knows that mages don't need DX or ST, so decreasing those isn't an issue. Decrease a mage's HP, and he might need to rethink his strategy.

But the fact is, Jon has the "mage staff" idea on the FORS list, so it will never be added, and he's just removed the magic bonus from EGs, so why would he add a new kind of glove that adds to magic?

Thunder Hammer [100] (+0)

hits once, maximum per round. the + cannot be upgraded. damage dealt is dealt to all minions, but the father back a minion is, the less damage he recieves. so it would look like this...

Minion A smashes the ground with a Thunder hammer!
Minion W takes damage! [4000], Minion X takes damage! [3500], Minion Y takes damage! [3000] and so on and so forth...

when it gets down to one minion, it can be more powerful like a coc/fb

No no, here is what I think the best item that people will rush to buy =) !!!

This will be a --> "Battle Ring"

Description:
When wear + 1 Battle Allocation (BA) refresh per 10 minutes.
Can be war up to 2 BA rings total Per Account. (Take no extra item space)
Does not spawn in stores, Not Upgradeable!

Ring can only be bought from Jon, and one ring will be put in action per month with min bet of 5Mil CB2.

So, what you guys think of that, I bet Central Bank can get a lot money very fast, as well as increase the CB2 ratio for USD.

Why not a BA Fairy while we are at it?

There are 5 of these "BA" Fairies in Circulation. *DOES NOT HAVE TO BE EQUIPPED*

They grant you an instant +50 BA (even if your at 160)... Every 1-3 hours (random) they jump from user to user randomly.

I am amazed at the creativeness of those items, but they aren't the items nor the feedback i was hoping of.

My idea was to create balanced items that Jonathan could put into the game to possibly at a point create item sets that was asked about in the first post linked.

But all the reactions (well 90% of them) are just about fantastic items that would make a balance of 0...

I can't figure out the difference with the Rogue's Coif and a normal Elven Cloak =\ Don't they both just up Dex? Also the Adamantite Shield is pointless, we have the Mithril shield to do that. I do like AC gloves idea, and I think the BA ring would be interesting to see how much people paid for an extra BA or 2 per minute =P

Why don't we stick with (and flesh out) the basic sets we have now;

1) Adamantite: Hi AC, cheap to upgrade, large penalties to Dex and Magic.

2) Mithril: Moderate AC, moderate to upgrade. No dex/magic penatlies

3) Elven: Moderate AC, Expensive to upgrade. Bonus to Dexterity.

4) 'Named': Good AC, Fair to upgrade. Bonus to Strength.

5) 'Wizard' Equipment: Poor AC, expensive to upgrade. Gives bonuses to DD/ED/EO.

Name ideas; (Shade, Pauldrons are shoulder guards :P )

For 1);
Body: Already Exists
Cloak: N/A
Footwear: Adamantite Leggings/Sabots
Gloves: Adamantite Gauntlets/Bracers
Headgear: Adamantite Helm/Full Helm/Great Helm
Shield: Adamantite Tower Shield

For 2);
Body: Already Exists
Cloak: N/A
Footwear: Mithril Leggings
Gloves: Mithril Gloves/Bracers
Headgear: Mithril Coif
Shield: Already Exists (maybe it should be given less of a Dex penalty...)

Now for the "new" items:

Name: Judo Belt
Type of item: Cloak
AC: 4
Special Properties: Each +2 added, makes the belt a new color, each color represents a better understanding of Unarmed Combat and Evasion tactics, so each color upgrade grants 1 to UC and 1% to Evasion, but only if UC is trained. Magic Penalty -2%

(I got the idea for this one from another thread, just to be fair)

Name: Aura of the Master
Type of Item: Power Shield
AC: 4
Special Properties: For each + that is added your "aura" becomes more powerful, this means that on top of direct AC blockage the aura also grants extra protection against ranged weapons through extra evasion during the ranged rounds. This power is only available to those who have UC trained. Magic Penalty -2%.

If all UC gear is worn, the user is granted +5 to UC and +5% to evasion.

A full "set" of Joker Clothing...

Jokers Hat : AC 0, grants Evasion (caused as a result of opponent laughing)
Jokers Boots : -10% Dex (you can't run in those !), +10% Magic (click your heals)
Jokers Trousers : AC 0, Style bonus +5 (reduces opponents HP by 25% due to feeling inferior)
Jokers Tunic : AC 0, 15% Archery bonus damage and to hit (opponents are dazzled by the colours and don't see the ammo coming)

Speciality Melee Wep : Custard Pies x73 1 Handed, Drains humour for 75% (Upgradeable after several minutes in the oven, erm blacksmith)

Speciality Ranged Wep : Single launch mono bicycle wheel - instant death to first minion run over with it.

Special Bonus for fully equipping the set. Ability to shout "JOKER" as a battle cry causing opponents to miss next turn.

Upgrades ( I guess close to normal arrows )
Effect: Damages enemies minions ( besides the one hit ) for 10% of the damage to the minion that was hit

Spiked Gauntlets
AC: 1
Upgrades: Dunno
Effect: Returns .4% of the inflicted melee damage on wearer back to attacking minion



Tunic of the Red Flame (BA )
AC: 1
Upgrades : no clue
Effect: For each plus on this item, user gains 1% damage reuction from Fireball ( applied after Protection / AC / Endurance )

Tunic of the Silver Moon (BA)
AC: 1
Upgrades : no clue
Effect: For each plus on this item, user gains 1% damage reuction from Magic Missle ( applied after Protection / AC / Endurance )

Tunic of the Frigid Mountain (BA )
AC: 1
Upgrades : no clue
Effect: For each plus on this item, user gains 1% damage reuction from Cold of Cold ( applied after Protection / AC / Endurance )

And..

Cloak of Invisablity (Cloak )
AC: 0
Upgrades: (yet agian, no clue )
Effect: For each+ on CoIn you character gains a 1% chance to completely dodge any attack made upon it.

Think for a minute just how hard it is for Jon to balance a new item into the game. If you're lucky he might introduce one of these in the next change month but I wouldn't count on it.
