Reward Inquiry (in General)

I was watching my rewards (sample below) and I wanted to know what the best supported theory is on the amount of Randomness associated with rewards. Why is it that I can fight a char that should give me great rewards, and only get high XP and low 100's in money, but yet I can fight a less then stellar character and receive 200 something money?

So I'm just asking has anyone figured out what factors go into these better then me? I'm pretty sure that the amount of money the character you are attacking has plays some part in this also, but not sure how much of a part.

In order to get accurate $ reward, you must heal yourself first before every fight. Other wise, if you use Heal and Fight, your reward is subtracted by the $ to heal.

sorry Arorrr but I was under the impression that the reward amount was fine but it just took it straight off the $ amount you already had as you heal before your fight.
I at least thought it was from my observation.

I've noticed that if I get less $ then I get more XP from the same target. Of course a higher score target gets you more total reward. I figure the radomness is twofold - one, how many reward points you get for the fight, and two, how those reward points are divvied up between money and XP. But in general for the same score, the closer the battle, the better my rewards seem to be.

It would be nice, IMO, if all monetary gains were only based on score, and experience gains only based on PR difference. But I'm sure that will never happen, even though it makes more sense.

(i.e. if someone is stronger than you, you make better XP gains for the win; if someone has more score than you, you are paid more for the win.)
