Tribute Give Away! (in Contests)

well, since Tribut gave this character to me for winning his contest, i figured i would do a contest worthy of him.

i am going to give Tribute away. (u only have to pay transfer fees, cause im mega poor now)

so we will do this Nixon Jibfest style, cause he helped me out, now ill help you out.

post here why you think you should get tribute.

note the veterans that play more, but who suck (like i used to when i got tribute) are going to have a better chance.

if you have a NUB, its probably not going to happen.

im looking for an older player who just is struggling to get a hold of something and a direction, and once he has that he can rocket off towards it.

anyone out there like me?

I need a better char to fight with, I forge with Der Silberne Kuss and I am mega poor as well, I dont want to lose a bunch of MPR because I use him to forge not fight :)

note: you must play with Tribute as your main Character always.

Tribute must NEVER be a farm. if you get tired of playing with him, then give him away.

also note: no firing of minions, or extensive train/retrain sessions. i want someone who has a direction for tribute, maybe the same as mine, and to untrain/retain once and head off on that goal. u have to know what you want.

I need that character since mine (ac0) gets farmed...... alot and I just don't got the stuff left to boost him enough :'( too late for natural hp, too late for a much much higher AMF (it's too low -_-). My MPR is just way too low, and if this continues my score has to drop back to 300k for it to be in balance

S2P - How can you just say BL stinks? Perhaps you didn't find it useful, but there are plenty of people who happen to think otherwise.

BL is useless with a massive AC/protection/endurance. Otherwise, it's suicide in melee (especially versus CoC) but enough of these thread hijacks!

Well I guess I fit that category pretty well. I’ve been around a while and I just can’t seem to get my PR up, the trying to get another minion just costs way too much (when you don't make much $). Also I think us broke people should stick together :). Just might take a while to re-equip.

Can the winner change minion names if the character name remains Tribute? Does starting in January count as an older player?

Anyways... (and this is not whining, it's just a chronology of events) I did a lot of experimenting with strats & weapons & armor, and spent a lot of CB2 $ on rares & forging trying to "not suck" for 3 months When I reached a point when I thought I was ready to make real effort to move up, the May changes (especially NW/PR) nerfed absolutely everything I had done. In frustration at my wasted effort, and because real life was cutting into my CB2 time too much too start over, I had some fun giving great stuff away (everything I had) in trivia contests. I untrained all of my minions, and left them to fend for themselves for a while...

Recently, more free time has become available to me, so I retrained Princess WonderDog, bought some minimal armor & weapons, and have started to see if CB2 has of the original excitement left for me. It's been okay, but I'm sure not ready to recommit just yet, especially with another change month a few days away. And I still think the NW/PR thing is more like an experiment in socialism than a "game balancer", but whatareyagonnado, right?

Do I deserve Tribute? No. Do I want Tribute? Yes. I want to try to find a way to make a mostly UC trained set of minions a viable strat. It will take me forever to build up enough EXP from scratch to get there, but Tribute is already there, so that is what I would do. Retrain the minions with mostly UC & a few protective spells, get some Gis, and battle on with a bunch of monks who don't need much NW, making the NW/PR thing moot to me. Maybe I'd stick around longer then.

That's my story, and I'm sticking to it, although others may know more :P Thanks for listening.

I think i deserve tribute becuase i would like a 4 minion team so i can make a wall, and i am to poor to purchase another minion for my current charcter. I would also like to try out a UC minion possibly and i think it would help me further my forging as well (not much) I would also proably give him away later on.

aco, your strat is perfectly sound, u just need a bit more experience to tweak some things to make him perfect.
one: you toa need to grow, give it time, two: unlearn EC on your tank, three, later you will learn as i did, that the mage in the back really sucks, and that he would do better as a wall. your strat was almost exactly like mine was until i fixed it, you are on the right path :)

hellrazor, seriously, 3 minions is the way to go, a couple of tweaks and you will be set as well. most of the people in the top are 3 minions, it seems to be the best team set up. im sure you will find a way to make it work out.

barzoo money, you are looking prime for this strat. you sound just like i did when i started out and i like that :)
i thought about going the 4 UC char way, but i wasnt sure i could commit myself to him. if no one else responds you will get the character.
i would hope that you would take him and run with him. make him the best he can be!

We all remember the SaintMichael founder of The Noob Foundation. At the high level he was he sparingly stared a profit free organization for the benefit of noobs. Which blossemed beautifully, while he maintained a successful character. The money he will earn with this character will easily find its way to the pockets of noobs. And with his unequaled conception of strategy he will lead Tribute to victorious ovations. If Tribute is too muchh for me I will pass him off to the next generation of players.

after very, VERY long talks with SaintMichael, i have decided that his plan/goal for him is what im looking for with tribute. someone who knows the game, follows the rules, has some history and has some direction. he shows devotion, commitment and best of all, intelligence.

he has sent the money for the fees, unfortunately, i cant send for a while cause i just took him out of the clan, so i will send when its possible. i know it kills to wait for it, it took tribute what seems like ages, but i will send as soon as possible.
