Contest for Noobs (and Newbs) (in Contests)

Only noobs can enter this contest. To qualify to be a noob you must have joined at the beginning of this month or later.

To win the contest, you must be planning on not quitting and playing for a while and you must answer the following question, i will pick the winner. The winner will either get 15k or a loan of a lesser fire familiar level 38k for 2 weeks. I know the tattoo is small, but it is the best i have.

Question: What do you like most about cb2 and what would you like to change or see in cb2?

a pet peeve of mine, while i understand the since that either term could be used for either case, i find it annoying to assing noob onto someone with less then a month play time.

Adrian, we all have our pet peeves, but be nicer to noobs, remember that you were once a noob doing exactly what you posted. Thanks to Bast, every noob that answers will get something. I will also be extending it to the beginning of last month. i will be giving away free caps, leather armor, and the like. i will be keeping the 15k and the loan of the LFF as prizes.

My favorite things about cb are the familiarity and how cb is like a world of its own such as how the top 2 people could be known throughout the cb community like celeberties. Something that i would like to see new in cb would be some new spells/skills so that there could be new stratagies and posabilities.

I think that the clans system needs to be changed... I mean, I have joined 2 clans and got kicked out of both already.... and I didn't even DO anything! I only want to be in a clan for the supposed bonuses and being able to vote for stuff on the Black Market thing... I will really join ANY clan..... hehe

Which term is the derogative one? i'm always confused about this.

is noob the mean one or is newb the mean one.

newb has new in it so maybe it's the time implication, and noob is spelled like boob which is a term meant to offend others. do i have it right?

noob = mean

newb = friendly

The best part of Cb2 is also the worst part. I'd have to say that the people are really nice and are willing to help with anything, but there are also those people that are conceted and arrogant, as well as annoying.

I agree with you on that, though the annoying people are trying to be annoying.

Being as both words are completely made up, as are both definitions, I wouldn't get too worried about the use of them in the wrong situation.

Ok, i will be ending this contest soon, and thanks to Bast i have a character full of lower armor, ready to loan out the LFF lvl 38k and the $15k. I will provide a list of all armors soon. The prizes will be awarded like his:
1st place: get to choose 4 of the available awards.
2nd place: get to choose 3 of the available awards.
3rd place gets to choose 2 of the available awards.
Anyone not in those places will choose from what is leftover. 1st place chooses their prizes 1st, 2nd chooses there prizes 2nd, etc. The others will come first come first serve.

Alright, well I started a little less than a week ago, and the thing I like the most is the combat system. It allows us to compete against each other, yet keep it friendly. Because I don't really lose anything (except maybe a few clan points) when you fight my character, we get the thrill of competing against other intelligent people, without the rancor that PvP often creates. I think I would change some things about the familiars, as it seems I often come up against groups whose familiar is more powerful than the rest of their minions combined.

I will be announcing the 1sr 2nd and 3rd place winners tomorow. After that, it will be 1st come 1st serve for the remaining people and prizes.

I like that if you don't like the way your minions are turning out, you can unlearn attributes and you get most of your Exp. points back and then go another route. I had a tank and didn't like how I was doing, so I unlearned bloodlust and was able to use the exp I got back to train fire ball.

I'd like there to be more character customization in cb2. It would be cool if there different classes or races. You could start with a mage and as you grow more powerful, you could become an elf mage and then a dark elf mage. Or if you want a tank, you could chose from a fighter or a dwarf and each one could have slightly different stats. For instance, if you had, say a elf mage minion, it would cost less exp to level up COC, but more to level up strength or HP. If you were a dwarf, Hp would take less exp to level up, but magic would be more costly. Oh and a mage would of course be more resistant to magic, but weak against physical attacks. I don't know if any of this would be possible in CB2, but it would be cool.

i just started playing cb2 lastnight at about 2 or 3 am and i haven't played cb1 so i had no clue what i was doin so i started asking questions in the newbie chat thing or what ever u call it and every time i asked a question i got at least 4 replies and i have had all my questions answered and thats what i like about cb2 and what i would change is the ba thing where if u run out u have to wait ten mins and refresh to get some more so u can battle or go to the stores and thats about all i have to say.

P.S. I think you're getting a better deal than me with that lesser fire familiar lol . It's already 15k levels stronger since I got it and By the time you get it back it'll probably be twice as strong as when I got it! That's actually a pretty slick idea. Loan out your tattoos and have someone else level them up. You can get small ones pretty cheap, have some newbie level them up and then sell them for big $ or just use your newly powered up tat yourself. I'm still making some good money off you tat though so thanks a lot. I'll be sad to see it go

Hey i just started last night. and i was wondering if i can have the Halberd [52x10] (+6)

i like the way it is set up and the things u can do. it is also faster than most rpgs that u can play. if i could chang 1 thing i would probably add a map.

sorry, but it seems that nobody wants their prizes so i will just horde them all for myself, muahahahahaha!
