Does virtual PR penalize you more than if it was trained? (in General)

I noticed my fight rewards decline a fair bit when I built up 8-9k untrained EXP on each of my 4 minions. I figured it was due to concentrated BA useage, but it was the same 2 hours later. I tried a dozen extra fights to be sure, and was getting $190 and 20-25 exp per minion as my highest rewards.

Then I trained - immediately my rewards went up to the usual $250 and 35-40 exp per minion in the upper end of my fight list.

So is the virtual PR calculating more "power" than if I actually trained? (keeping in mind my ToE also levelled on training, though I forgot to check how much - probably 150 or so levels). I didn't scrupulously track, but I watch for the best rewards while burning BA and noticed this discrepancy.

Am I imagining things or has anyone else seen this too?

I think you might be right. Right before I trained 5.7 million in total xp I was getting rewards so low that I would lose money even during crazy cash time. Then I trained it all and my rewards went back up. So much that I once again broke even or earned money during cash time by fighting just my old list.

It is possible that MPR is determined by the levels you have, while VPR is determined by xp, which could make up the difference. On another note, if you want to know MPR doesn't grow linearly with your levels or xp since I managed to more then double every stat I had and yet was far from doubling my MPR.

Well,

I have over 800k untrained xp on The Apocalypse Book and my rewards have not changed at all. They still are very poor.

So is this a bug or a "bug" designed to induce us to train often? And Ranger - must be lonely at the top, that's all I can really say. At least you're maintaining your position in the face of a design set to make the top spot unstable.

Well I guess I overestimated, I still lose when buying BA during regular hours it seems. It could be the small expansion of my fight list that has improved my rewards by enough to make money during cash time again. Though I haven't ruled out the possibility that VPR is more harmful then used xp.

As I see it though VPR should be potential MPR, which might by more then spent xp if you spend it on stats that already cost you 12-14 xp to raise by one point. It's possible that VPR assumes you get more levels per xp then what you actually get by concentrating the xp in only a few places.

As far as Ranger goes, I thought he didn't receive a negative penalty for fighting people below him since he's in the top ten. So his additional VPR shouldn't matter, just the PR and Score of his opponents.

It's all budice's fault for causing high scores/pr/mpr jumps :) Blame it all on him.
