My comp keeps shutting down, it's not a virus. so I've come to the conclusion of a bad power supply, how do I fix it?

Unplug your computer and all the peripherals, put everything back in the box, take the box back to the store and tell them to never sell you another computer again. :P

You probably need a more powerful power supply. If you're comp has a lot of peripherals, you'll probably need 550+ watts.
