Oversize tattoos, part 2 (in Changelog)
After cache flush tonight, oversize tattoos' effect during battle will be capped at the character's max tattoo level. (And will continue to not gain xp.)

Wake up! Its a dream.
One question. If someone has an oversized tat and it's level it maxed at maxed tattoo allowed does any level above that still count towards pr?

yes.... been waiting for this 1
Good change and good question Logan
yes, it counts towards PR
but in those situations tattoo PR is lower than it would be if it were trained XP so I'm not shedding any tears
(to fix this I would make tattoo xp count like "real" xp, which means it would give different PR depending on who equipped it, and I don't think that would be a popular thing. :)

even it if wasn't a "popular" thing, it would still reflect much better the effect that wearing the tattoo has. I would be all for that.
/me is very glad this change happened :)
nice work, as always Jon :)

That's much better.
What's pretty cool is that even though your oversized tattoo doesn't gain levels, as your mpr increases your max tattoo size increases, and therefore your tattoo's effect increases along as well. I find this very rewarding, and is in my opinion one of the best balancing changes of all time. Congrats Jon!

I have a question.
When you have an oversized tat equipped, does it add the full amount of PR to your character, or just what it would at the level it is functioning at?
Not sure if that makes sense, but I can clarify if needed.

That was answered somewhere, maybe further up in this thread. I believe the answer is that the full level of the tattoo is what affects your PR.

Yeah I experimented a little with a 1 PR char and you're right. That kinda sucks, why should you get the PR for it if you're not getting the bonuses?

uh, to discourage people from using oversized tattoos?

Uhh. Yeah but there's no bonus. There's no reason to discourage it because it adds no bonus vs. a tattoo of the correct size.
