Chat / Java (in General)

The following basically means that I won't be able to use chat....
Since I've rebooted my system (I needed a new kernel), Java 1.4.2 barfs the following set of errors, while 1.5.0 versions (I've tried 02 and 04) are broken on Linux, because it fails to scroll the last (few) line(s).

Always fun, closed source software...
