MPB, what MPB? (in General)

AdminQBGentlemanLoser [{END}] July 28 2005 9:11 AM EDT

The highest MPB at the moment is 314,387. This is on a bloodlust tank.

I've just hit;

Talhearn's Cone of cold hit TheElvenRanger [373108] versus an 18% AMF reduction.

Granted, the MPB can hit more than once per round... ;)

AdminShade July 28 2005 9:13 AM EDT

Magic Spells aren't included in MPB :P

AdminQBGentlemanLoser [{END}] July 28 2005 9:16 AM EDT

Which is why I had to record it here!

That works out to be a hit of around 455K without the AMF...

:D

DD Spells are way overpowered compared with BL melee damage or just regular melee damage even hitting three times. I can hit with my HUGE Morg for 70Kish per hit in melee with 350K ST. So a triple hit would only be 210K in damage, and yet one hit from the CoC or a big FB or even a MM and wham, 300K to even 450K damage for the same relative character level.

CoC overpowered now?

I think I prefer it when GL's just got back from the pub....

=)

AdminQBGentlemanLoser [{END}] July 28 2005 9:38 AM EDT

;)

With the help of a new RoE, I'm gonna shoot for a 1 Mil CoC to get the first 1 million single hit in CB2.

Lukey, wanna race?

WeaponX July 28 2005 9:39 AM EDT

stop beating me up your like double my PR no fair :P nice hit tho. /me goes off to up his AMF

Quark July 28 2005 9:42 AM EDT

Except with CoC GL's sitting through three ranged rounds with a bull's eye painted on his forehead. Especially since he's dropped his ToE in favor of the rune.

AdminQBGentlemanLoser [{END}] July 28 2005 9:44 AM EDT

Yup. It's really hard for me to make it through ranged now. No AC, Evasion only from my DB s, and quite frankly, I've got small HP s.

Also, being the biggest damage dealing DD, it takes the most, per AMF percent from any AMF backlash. Without a ToE, that really hurts!

smallpau1 - Go Blues [Lower My Fees] July 28 2005 10:14 AM EDT

wow, CoC only cast in melee, FB is still more powerful than CoC...

FB with its *smaller* attack power, but is cast in ranged and melee.

smallpau1 - Go Blues [Lower My Fees] July 28 2005 10:15 AM EDT

by *smaller* i meant not much smaller.

QBJohnnywas July 28 2005 10:17 AM EDT

Jack Crow's Cone of cold hit Talhearn [256728]
Jack Crow cries "More cheese with your whine?!"

Wow, CoC really does hit hard doesn't it.....lol

=)

miteke [Superheros] July 28 2005 1:58 PM EDT

The difference is that DDs can be messed up by an AMF. I have a large CoC and rarely get to see it do full damage and quite often see it die a messy death before round 6 due to AMF. Melee weapons may not have the high end damage capability that DDs do, but they don't have the nasty tendency towards self destruction either.

maulaxe July 28 2005 2:03 PM EDT

ummm... what about GA?
: )

AdminQBGentlemanLoser [{END}] July 28 2005 2:20 PM EDT

Problem is, the higher a mage pumps his DD, the less effective AMF get's.

Where as CoC is the most effected DD by AMF backlash (baring Decay of course...) it is the least effected by GA. What i mean, is as it deals the highest damage per level, GA needs to be higher to return an optimal amount than it would versus FB or MM.
