As discussed over here, there is now an Other option for spending xp while training.

Er..yeah, after rereading the thread...I have no idea what I said. I really don't understand this very well.

Is there a condensed or more simple explanation?

AdminJonathan July 29 2005 1:04 AM EDT

[SIBT]Gardiner Amarth July 29 2005 5:21 AM EDT

Wow I've wanted this for a long long time...thanks Jon!

CoolWater July 29 2005 5:41 AM EDT

Excellent change.

It says 'amount of xp' does that mean we still have to divide that amount by amount of exp needed to gain 1 pt?

Was the amount of exp received after unlearn always showing besides unlearn or is it something new too?

[T]Vestax July 29 2005 5:46 AM EDT

No, it means you need to do multiplication. For example if you want your HP to increase by 1k and it cost 11xp per point you will need to enter 11k and assume the cost per point doesn't change to 12xp at some point in between.

CoolWater July 29 2005 7:14 AM EDT

isn't that what I meant?

Undertow July 29 2005 7:30 AM EDT

(The amount you want to train the skill) * (the xp cost per point) = what you fill in the box.

Or, the amount you fill in the box / the xp cost per point = the amount you want trained in the skill.

Yes, basically the same thing.

[T]Vestax July 29 2005 7:51 AM EDT

Thanks for clearing that up Undertow.
