Guardian Angel question.. (in General)

After seeing a play-by-play of a battle that my opponent used CoC I noticed that my GA wasn't retaliating 60% of the damage as it should even though each minion was taking less than 20k damage and I have 22k GA.
I was using my main char Jiro and was attacking a char named Proteus.Can anyone tell what's the problem?

Well its based on the actual damage you do.

Lets say you have a 20 hp enchanter.

Your battle report says they do 5500 damage to that minion, youll see only like about 14 GA damage back to then. Its based on the amount of hp they actually have, not the amount it says that you do.

Same with VA, as far as I know...

Your guardian angel can't hit back with more "life force" than the minion it is protecting at that particular moment. In the same way, VA cannot leech away more hit points than the attacked minion has.

I didn't learn this until late in my CB1 career -- it was quite a surprise to me as well. *smile*

This is the first round of melee and my minions were at full HP until that moment, it's not like they had less hp than the damage they took.Shouldn't it work properly?

Simple, Proteus has a Tattoo of Endurance. Therefore the GA damage you do to him is significantly reduced. Since GA damage is effected by armor/endurance/protection.

omg even the GA is reduced?
