Could it be Brock's time? (in General)

Yes, Brock has had a healthy run and continues to do quite well. However, Brock could be much more powerful with an added AMF/HP minion. Now, I don't want to hear arguments for or against, I just want to hear a "yes" signifying that I should hire a second minion or a "no" signifying that I shouldn't. Keep in mind Brock has been single minion since day 1 and I would love to keep him as such, but right now, he'd be better off with another minion, hands down. That may not be the case in the future, but I'm not sure yet. Let me hear it. =)

I was single minion until not so long ago. But adding minions only changed my fightlist, didn't move me up in score at all. Most of the people who could beat me still could. And that dilution of XP really hurts. And with Brock really needing as much XP as possible you will only hurt yourself.

Secondly it really isn't worth doing unless you can afford the more expensive option - the cheaper option, which would cost you around a million, gives you a really small minion. You'd probably get around 20k HP and maybe a similar sized AMF.

The only bonus from adding minions comes when you're up against FB/CoC where it spreads the damage.

If you can afford the more expensive option then it's a possibility but otherwise don't do it.

There comes a point where is you don't add a minion, you almost never will. The cost as you go higher and higher in MPR gets very prohibitive.

One question you need to ask is this: How much of your xp that you make on Brock is used for non Brock essential skills. That is used for AMF or VA. If you hire another minion you will use that for the AMF/VA and make Brock's xp go only for his fighting skills.

IMO, you should hire another minion, give your AMF and VA the attention is deserves and let you concentrate all your xp on Brock's fighting skills.

Also, with another minion, youll get the advantage of splitting up others fireballs and youll get a blocker to take the first round of MM or missile damage.

If you do hire, go for the expensive option as there is no substitute for xp.

I'm of the same mind as ranger.
My E's focus on E spells only and my Fighters are dedicated to fighting, it's better to specialize hardcore than it is to split the load on one minion. Get an E and put a corn +7 on him and that's it, he's going to die fast anyways, and you can worry about HP later in the game. :)
