Thrown weapons.
Things like shurikens and throwing knives.
They would be ammo, and not need a bow/sling type object to use.
UC would get a substantial bonus with them.

that idea was shot down a long time ago...
too bad, i kinda like it.
Yeah, I've kind of wanted something like a "Brace of knives" (brace = two)
Say....
Damage and PTH Upgrades each cost twice that of a dagger
Only fires the last two rounds of ranged (Or maybe last round of ranged and first round of melee making it unappealing for DD minions)
Each shot has the same base damage as a dagger ([4x])
Cannot also equip a melee weapon.
maybe also -5% magic ?
Like Chargerz-Back says, I believe Jon would have done this already if thought it was worthwhile. Too bad really. *shrug*
(Searching doesn't reveal any specific posts where Jon said "no" though so I suppose it might still be on his "to consider" list)
