4 minions? Where? (in General)
I swear just a short while ago ranger was rallying all behind a cry of
"HIRE MINIONS NOW, THEY DO NO GOOD LATER"
now not only had a he fired his 4th, but he's been bested by a lower mpr, two minion team...well I'll be...
I like my two extra lazy minions (but only because of haste), but have also found
they don't do a whole lot except dilute your XP.
What about you?

Interesting statement novice.
It is both true and very false.
First, I do say if your going to hire minions and have 4, do it in the beginning. The reason I fired Plague was that he was useless minion for me. Not really having a purpose or skill other than becoming another wall type minion. So thats why I fired it. With little xp compared to my other 3, any spell or skill would be almost useless at this level of PR.
There are cases for hiring a minion later in the game, but those are for supportive type characters such as putting DM or AMF on them but not for primary damage dealing or defensive type characters. IE for Rubberduck, another minion would help him get his DM off his FB mage but thats about it. With DM in the mix, any ED spells a new minion would have will be easily nuked by a decent sized DM.
Now as to me losing to a lower MPR 2 minion team; But before you say I am bested by that character, take a look at who actually wins when we fight. And also take a look at the items and abilities of the character before you open your mouth ever, ever again. Since it is obvious you do not know what your typing about.
I was talking about score, can you argue that the leader boards have changed signifigantly recently?

Yet again your clueless.
I have a lower score than Krang since he and I were testing things last Sunday to get his character in line. After all, you know (im sure you do seeing as you know all) DAWG just obtained Krang and needed to make it what he wanted. Also, on Sundays I test things out with my character in an attempt to make it better. I tend to lose a bit more battles than I should, so my score on Sundays drops a lot and during the week I build it up.
As you SHOULD know, score is very labile (that is fluctuating), especially if its as high as mine or Krang's. Also other people fight me and beat me a bit more than Krang lowering my score a little more.
So, please keep your sarcastic remarks to yourself and please spare us the embarrassment of seeing your true colors. No one should see that ugliness.

I had considered doing away with Norb, but I decided to try something first before I get rid of him. So far, my test is having mixed results (Norb is my last hired minion, the other 3 were all started at the same time). The problem I have with him is that he doesn't have enough Exp to be much more than a wall or basic E. And when I had my ToA Tank in front of him, my Tank lived thru almost all of my fights, so I felt that he was pointless. Which is why he is what he is an E now.

I hired my 4th minion right before Mikel (not sure if that meant anything). That minion has gone through many stages since then. First as a decay mage, training base decay and HP until it's hp finally caught up. Then he went full mage of sorts and became the highest decay mage in the game (didn't take much). Then he turned AMF enchanter and got as far as having a 105k AMF until I turned him into a Meat Shield. Now he has AC and can finally be called a Wall, a small one at my level still. I will most likely turn him into a mini-tank to do mild damage to enchanters and mages and hide him behind an enchanter next.
However, spite all this evolution, the one thing he can never be is a full fledged damage dealer. Sure he'll do damage (and has done damage), but not as a serious tank or mage meant to win the battle all by himself.
Is he useless? No, more members dilute Mages and Tanks but it increases the damage and effectiveness of the GA and AS combo. I've managed to make great leaps in score just by adjusting him alone (including my 3 seconds as number 9) so he can't be all that useless if he can have such an effect.
Ga being the most powerful thing in the game, a 4 minion team certainly has it's advantages...but then again I shouldn't be posting.

I have never see a 4 minion team that work well.The % of exp that is useless vs your opponent grow as the numbers of minion increase but having more minion reduce your weakness.

Check all the top teams.
Most are 4 minion teams:
Gyaxx, Mikel, Almuric, Bartlett, Imp, etc...
Yes, DAWG is now 3 minions, as am I, Neji and The Minotaur. BCS is a 1 minion team, but most of the top characters are 4 minions.
